The Corporate Recruiting Manager is the senior-most recruiting team member and subject matter expert in the company, responsible for running a US and Canada recruiting organization and managing associated analytics, metrics, and educational institutional relationships. The successful candidate must have significant experience recruiting industrial services positions such as pipefitters, boilermakers, millwrights, electricians, mechanics, carpenters, etc., for both experienced hires and fresh-entries into the industry, has a high level or problem-solving ability while providing exceptional customer service to hiring managers to help them achieve their business goals, pays extreme attention to detail and works with a sense of urgency while always looking for continuous improvement opportunities. This position reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer, based in Houston, Texas, and will manage a team of recruiting team members supporting 40 locations and more than 5,000 people. SKILLS & CRITICAL TASKSExtremely organized, able to plan out process improvement plans and monitor adherence to company-defined requirements and key performance indicators.Knowledge and experience managing a complete, end-to-end recruiting process, including clear position requirements, background checks, drug screening, onboarding, start work and educational institution relationships.Effective oral and written communication abilitiesExcellent interpersonal and coaching skillsPractices a high level of confidentiality and data protection.Demonstrates ability to plan and prioritize work. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 10 years’ experience in recruitingMinimum 3 years’ experience leading a recruiting function.Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred, or experience in lieu.Industrial recruiting experience required.Experience in both Canada and United States preferred.Experience with Ceridian Dayforce recruiting modules a plus.Clean driving record and ability to provide proof of the right to work in the United States required.
