Product Content Manager

Reports directly to Chief Product Officer. Manages team of individuals responsible for product content creation. Works alongside a cross-functional team including engineers, project managers, and more to help bring new products to market by creating, cultivating, and grooming product content.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the integrity, precision, and completion of all product content, ensuring it's optimized for product pages and marketing materials.
  • Lead and mentor a team of product data coordinators and content creators, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Act as a pivotal connector between the product team, sales, merchandising, and marketing departments to ensure seamless, proactive communication and alignment on product content initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance the accuracy and impact of product page content, collaborating with relevant teams for updates, corrections, and innovations.
  • Craft compelling and original product content, including but not limited to, engaging product descriptions, persuasive selling points, and captivating narratives.
  • Champion new product launches, presenting them with enthusiasm and clarity during company-wide events.
  • Conduct tailored training sessions for sales and customer experience teams, equipping them with in-depth knowledge of new products.
  • Oversee and approve diverse content contributions, including photography, engineering reports, social media content, videos, and installation guides, ensuring they align with Mishimoto's standards and brand voice.
  • Serve as a go-to expert for product-related inquiries, offering support and solutions to internal teams.
  • Manage and evolve product data systems, ensuring they are robust, user-friendly, and aligned with Mishimoto's growth and innovation goals.

Your Creds:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in marketing, communications, or automotive engineering.
  • Strong understanding and enthusiasm for automotive systems and culture, with a keen insight into consumer needs and trends in the automotive industry.
  • Demonstrated passion for developing and disseminating compelling product content that engages consumers and drives sales.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a track record of managing intricate projects and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Consumer-centric approach, adept at creating content that resonates with diverse audiences and amplifies brand engagement.
  • Proven experience in leading teams, with a flair for inspiring creativity and excellence in content creation.
