Piper Companies is seeking a BI Project Manager to join one of the nation's leading credit unions based in Mclean, VA . The BI Project Manager willmaintain the project backlog, manage prioritization, run sprints, and communicate with senior leadership on potential issues or roadblocks. This position will be Hybrid in Mclean, VA 3 times per week!
Responsibilities of the BI Project Manager include:

• Manage Business Intelligence projects in various areas such as Consumer Loans, Deposits, Cards, Servicing, Collections, and FICO.
• Establish and maintain an Agile way of working, taking inputs from the Director of BI solutions, Channel leads, and other senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Channel Managers to manage the project backlog using JIRA, prioritize tasks, run sprints, and maintain communication with senior leadership.
• Ensure the team is fully functional and productive by efficiently managing task allocation and escalating major issues as necessary.
• Manage knowledge during and after the project, including lessons learned, best practices, and relevant documentation.
• Organize and lead meetings with various stakeholders and teams to present project progress and plan next actions.
• Suggest and implement improvements to project management, software development, and other organizational processes.
• Work with internal and external business and data teams to ensure consistent and accurate reporting, identify gaps using analytics and investigation, and minimize redundancy.
• Coordinate with multiple, geographically dispersed teams to support consumer BI functions across the organization.

Qualifications for the BI Project Manager:

• At least 7 years of total experience in Project Management, with a minimum of 4 years in Agile and BI projects.
• Experience in managing BI projects using Agile is required.
• Proficiency in Scrum, JIRA, sprint management, and backlog management is required.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau; expertise is not required, but the ability to participate and lead conversations involving these tools is necessary.
• Expert in resolving conflicting requests and meeting changing requirements.
• Expert in presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely.
• Extensive experience in demonstrating initiative-taking, decision-making, and creativity in solving business problems.
• Certified Scrum Master certification is a plus

Compensation for the BI Project Manager:

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
