Individual Family Hiring is Hiring a Part-time Nanny Near Palo Alto, CA

Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and caring Nanny to provide attentive childcare for our children. This position offers the opportunity to engage with children in a nurturing and supportive environment. We are seeking someone who will inspire and enrich their lives, be an active mentor by engaging and supporting them with their thoughts and feelings. We need someone who is creative and playful that can contribute to their well-being and overall development. We hope to have a committed long-term nanny that the children can depend on and grow with!

Duties:

- Create age-appropriate activities and playdates inside and outside of the house
- Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks & Cooking/Baking with the children
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children
- Provide assistance with homework and educational activities
- Transport children to and/or from school, appointments, or activities
- Follow parents' guidelines for child discipline
- Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns to parents

Qualifications:

- Degree in Early Child Development, Psychology, and/or Human Development

- Prior experience in childcare, babysitting, or daycare
- Ability to cook and prepare healthy meals and snacks (Nutrition Degree is a plus)
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred
- Experience caring for infants and young children
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized childcare environment

Candidates must have a clean driving record and be willing to undergo a background check.

Previous family references should be made available upon interview scheduling.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
