Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and cleaning
- Manage kitchen staff, schedule shifts, and delegate tasks effectively
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for food preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with the management team to create menus and specials
- Train new kitchen employees on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of catering, inventory control, and hospitality management
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus
- Excellent culinary skills and understanding of food production processes
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and concerns professionally
-Be able to follow guidelines set by the Federal Food Program (CACFP)
