Camp Eddy & Lodging is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working Head Housekeeper to join our team. The Head housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining our lodging accommodations (Tiny Homes & Permanent Airstream Campers), cleaning and maintaining all aspects of our lodging community center, processing and completing lodging resort laundry, ensuring lodging accommodations and public spaces are completed to Camp Eddys standard of excellence.

We have two Head Housekeeper positions, each focusing on a different housekeeping operation of our resort. This Head Housekeeper role will focus on maintaining and cleaning the following areas: public restrooms/showers, gym, community center, laundry room, housekeeping storage area and front office. This Head Housekeeper role will also be responsible for processing and completing laundry which includes sorting of laundry, completion of laundry, folding and bundling laundry, transporting, and sorting clean laundry to appropriate location. Both Head Housekeepers will cover all Head Housekeeping Operations during days off of other Head Housekeeper.

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time (average 30-40 hours a week)

Benefits: $15.75 - $16.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Reports To: General Manager, & Manager on Duty

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Adhere to property standards for cleanliness, timeliness, checklists, and training guides.
• Provide all housekeeping duties required by property.
• Laundering property linens.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs
• Must be able to repeatedly bend and reach/stretch above head.
• Understand and correctly use technological platforms used by the business.

Skills

• Work experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or janitorial of 2 years required.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn.
• Willingness to follow property procedures.
• Confidence using technology.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexible Mindset
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Schedule:

• Weekends are our busiest time, and all head housekeepers are required to work weekends.
• Holidays required as needed.
• Shifts will start at 8am on most days.

Education:

• High school or equivalent

• Grand Junction, CO (81501): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
