Job description

General Accountabilities

  • Inspects and cleans food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
  • Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
  • Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, dating all containers once opened, and rotating stock.
  • Seasons and cooks food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience.
  • Observes and tests foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • Ensure food prep is done everyday.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work space.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 1 year related experience is preferred.
  • 18 years or older
  • Starting pay is based off of experience. Consideration for a raise after 90 days.
  • ServSafe certified
