Ark One, Inc. is Hiring a Project Estimator Near Greenville, PA

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. As a Project Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, creating accurate cost estimates, and assisting in the preparation of project proposals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of construction management and estimating processes. Duties: - Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates - Utilize industry-specific software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns - Research and gather pricing information from suppliers, subcontractors, and other sources to ensure accurate estimates - Prepare detailed take-offs and quantity surveys for various construction materials and labor requirements - Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including scope of work, cost breakdowns, and timelines - Collaborate with internal teams to review estimates for accuracy and completeness - Participate in negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and contract terms - Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase and provide ongoing cost control support Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred) - Proven experience as a Project Estimator or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, techniques, and software (HeavyBid, Bluebeam) - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications - Solid understanding of project management principles - Excellent communication and negotiation skills We offer competitive compensation packages based on experience.
