Healing Manifested is Hiring a House Manager / Executive Assistant Near Oakland, CA

Job Description (Who we are / What we need ) :

We are a happy, upbeat, neurodivergent couple in our thirties seeking an empathetic, detail-oriented House Manager/Executive Assistant. Experience with neurodivergent individuals is a plus. We run a growing nonprofit and need a dedicated team member to support our personal and professional development.

As House Manager, you will handle cooking, cleaning, laundry, errands, shopping, returns, pet care (for our sweet 10-year-old Chihuahua), and other domestic duties to keep our home running smoothly. Your role includes maintaining a well-organized, clean environment, preparing a healthy diet with supplements, and supporting our personal and professional performance.

When not engaged in those activities, as Executive Assistant you will assist with administrative tasks, project research/planning, managing schedules, handling phone calls, taking meeting notes, and providing general support as needed.

The ideal candidate is a conscientious, intelligent self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills. We need a quick thinker who can proactively anticipate needs. Preference will be shown to those individuals that can demonstrate a STRONG ability to research unfamiliar topics, and use various online resources to build new skills that will aid our nonprofit's administration and growth.

Example Responsibilities:

- Prepare our Blue Apron meal subscription recipes, and other basic cooking.

- Prepare and supply our vitamin supplement regimen / smoothie etc

- Perform regular cleaning and general maintenance tasks around the home

- Manage laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing

- Run errands such as grocery shopping, and handling returns

- Make phone calls and set appointments for personal and household needs

- Organize and manage household supplies and inventory

- Assist with household organization

- Provide reminders and support for personal tasks and commitments

- “Body Doubling” - A technique where an individual with ADHD works alongside another person to increase focus, motivation, and accountability in completing tasks.

- Assist in administrative and compliance tasks for the nonprofit

- Research new topics and develop strategies to apply the information

- Manage schedules, appointments, and admin phone calls

- Travel as needed (Paid travel of course)

Qualifications:

- AMAZING vibes, positive, upbeat, can-do attitude is a must :)

- High level of empathy, patience, and understanding

- Ability to work independently and take initiative

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Experience with household cleaning and maintenance tasks

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven experience as Executive Assistant / House Manager or similar role

- Experience working with neurodivergent individuals - e.g., ADHD, Autism, etc (We are high-functioning)

- Knowledge of strategies and tools for improving household organization

Compensation / Benefits:

$22 - $28 / hr ( Depending on experience / what skills you can bring to the table as an Executive Assistant )
