Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Safety Manager located in Jersey City, NJ. The Safety Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day safety operations, conducting safety trainings, investigating accidents, ensuring compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations, and implementing industrial safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Occupational Health and Safety Training
- Experience in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
- Accident Investigation skills
- Industrial Safety knowledge
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CSP, CIH) is a plus
- OSHA 30
- 5 years experience in EHS
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field is a plus
