**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, transportation management, and supply chain operations. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing transportation routes to ensure efficient delivery of goods. **Responsibilities:** - Coordinate and schedule shipments with carriers and drivers - Monitor delivery progress and provide updates to customers - Utilize GPS systems to track vehicles and optimize routes - Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency - Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure timely deliveries - Assist in resolving any transportation issues that may arise - Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and driver activities **Skills:** - Experience in logistics, freight, or transportation management - Knowledge of 3PL (Third Party Logistics) operations - Familiarity with SyteLine or similar dispatch software is a plus - Strong analytical skills to assess transportation planning and optimize routes - Excellent communication skills to liaise with drivers, customers, and internal teams - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic logistics environment where you can utilize your skills in transportation planning and dispatch operations. Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
