Overview:We are seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical assistance and support to one of our premiere clients, an ultra-conservative non-profit. Duties:- Provide technical support to end users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, printers, and other peripherals- Troubleshoot and resolve all problems encountered with hardware and software. Escalate requests to the appropriate party, as needed. Replace or repair defective parts and equipment- Provide on-site desktop/laptop support including new hardware setup, imaging, and deployment- Provide minor telecom system support including mobile devices, voicemail, and user programming- Assist with on-boarding and off-boarding of users- Set up user accounts and permissions in M365- Assist with software installations and upgrades- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues- Document all support activities and resolutions in a timely manner Requirements:- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and Mac OS- Experience with Azure Active Directory administration- Familiarity with office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office)- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to provide clear instructions to non-technical users- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environmentIf you have a passion for technology and enjoy helping others with their technical needs, we encourage you to apply for this position.
