Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a warm and hospitable Hostess to join the Umbrella Dry Bar team. As a Hostess, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience as they enter our wellness-focused and zero-proof beverage environment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their seats or waiting areas.

- Manage reservation bookings, take phone calls, and assist with inquiries regarding events, menu items, and offerings at Umbrella Dry Bar.

- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring it remains inviting and presentable at all times.

- Monitor and manage the flow of guests, optimizing seating arrangements to accommodate reservations and walk-in customers efficiently.

- Coordinate effectively with servers, bartenders, and other staff to ensure guests' needs are met promptly.

- Assist in organizing and facilitating special events and pop-ups, providing necessary information to guests and attendees.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.

- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a poised and professional attitude.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively.

- Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service and creating a positive guest experience.

- Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills is an advantage.
