~THE JOB:

We are seeking an exceptional Estate Manager and Personal Assistant for a high-profile couple's historic 100 year old estate. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and personal qualities to ensure the smooth operation and impeccable maintenance of this sacred home, while creating unforgettable experiences for every guest and providing discreet personal assistance to the residents.

~THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Estate Management:

  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the estate's daily operations, including housekeeping, maintenance, and event planning.
  • Maintain the estate's pristine condition through regular cleaning, repairs, and upkeep, adhering to daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance schedules.
  • Manage the estate's finances, including budgeting, purchasing, and record-keeping, while exercising prudence and responsibility
  • Coordinate with external service providers, such as caterers, florists, and designers, to maintain the estate's impeccable standards.
  • Oversee insurance forms and policies related to the estate, staff, and events.

Household Management:

  • Manage and schedule a team of staff and contractors, ensuring the highest standards of service and discretion.
  • Create and maintain a warm, inviting atmosphere within the home, including the arrangement of fresh flowers on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure the utmost privacy and confidentiality for the residents and their guests at all times.
  • Manage and enforce non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for all staff, contractors, and vendors to protect the privacy and confidentiality of the residents.
  • Personal Assistance:
  • Anticipate and address the needs of the residents, providing discreet and personalized service.
  • Assist with personal errands, shopping, and gift purchases.
  • Manage the residents' wardrobes, including organizing, cleaning, and maintaining clothing and accessories.
  • Assist with personal tasks for the residents, such as packing for travel and maintaining the organization and inventory of private areas.

Event Planning:

  • Plan and execute a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions, with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each guest experiences something rare and unique.
  • Coordinate with the residents' staff to ensure seamless communication and task completion.

Communication and Organization:

  • Serve as a key point of contact for the residents' household matters and personal needs.
  • Maintain detailed records of household expenses, contracts, and important documents.
  • Communicate effectively with the residents, their staff, and external contacts.
  • Understand and appreciate the deep level of care and attention to detail that the residents put into every aspect of the home, ensuring that this is reflected in all operations and guest experiences.

~THE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive experience in high-end estate management and personal assistance, preferably within a luxury hospitality setting or with high-profile individuals.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of staff and contractors.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, order, and aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals, from staff to high-profile guests.
  • Discretion and trustworthiness, with a deep understanding of the importance of privacy and confidentiality
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to go above and beyond to meet the unique needs of the residents.
  • A warm, positive demeanor and a genuine love for creating welcoming and nurturing environments.
  • Experience in catering or event planning is a significant plus.
  • A background that combines both luxury service and a down-to-earth, country-inspired approach to life
  • Familiarity with legal documents such as NDAs and insurance forms
