Senior Creative Director

~THE JOB

~Pourri, the makers of Poo-Pourri, is seeking an extraordinary Senior Creative Director to lead our brand's creative vision and elevate our design standards to new heights. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creative design department and ensuring that our brand's values and identity are consistently upheld across all touchpoints.

~THE RESPONSIBILITES

1. Develop and execute a cohesive creative strategy that aligns with our brand's values and resonates with our target audience.
2. Oversee the creative design department, providing guidance, mentorship, and direction to ensure the highest standards of design excellence.
3. Lead the design and development of packaging, event design, product design, email campaigns, and all other brand design communications.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure a unified brand experience across all channels.
5. Establish and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency and integrity across all creative outputs.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices to keep our brand at the forefront of innovation
7. Manage and optimize the creative design process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets while adhering to budgets and resources.
8. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within the design team, encouraging bold ideas and continuous improvement.
9. Serve as the ultimate brand advocate, both internally and externally, championing our brand's values and vision in all interactions
10. Roll up your sleeves and actively participate in the creative work, leading by example and demonstrating a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

~THE REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
2. 10 years of experience in a senior creative role, with a proven track record of leading successful design teams in a startup environment.
3. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other industry-standard design tools.
4. Strong portfolio showcasing exceptional design work across various mediums, including packaging, event design, product design, and digital communications.
5. Deep understanding of marketing principles and how design can drive brand engagement and growth.
6. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their best work.
7. Keen eye for detail and a relentless pursuit of design excellence, with the ability to balance creativity with strategic objectives.
8. Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Passion for the Pourri brand and a genuine commitment to upholding and elevating our brand's values and identity.
