The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Programs, Cluster Site Coordinator (CSC) is a key member of the BCIC’s programs team working to ensure BCIC achieves its mission. The Cluster Site Coordinator will play a critical role ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of children in the site by providing close supervision of all activities and staff, manage the day-to-day operations of the Core programs, maintain accurate program documentation (incident reports, accident report, behavior report, attendance & sign-in/sign-out sheets, and licensing requirements). The CSC will serve as site coordinator for multiple sites that take place either in person or virtually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the core programs.
• Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of children in the program by providing close supervision of all activities.
• Proactively identify and address gaps in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during system and process changes, ensuring timely updates communicated to the Program Manager.
• Maintain accurate program documentation (participant files, incident reports, accident report, behavior report, attendance & sign-in/sign-out sheets, and licensing requirements).
• Observe and assess the individual needs of children, handle student related issues.
• Monitor and update all required staff training attendance and certifications.
• Ensure that supplies and equipment are available and kept safe.
• Serve a primary contact to the respective school and/or program site.
• Actively participate in all training sessions and designated meetings.
• Promote an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces the diversity of all participants.
• Create and maintain a strength-based, youth-focused atmosphere that is consistent and sensitive to the needs of participants with learning, emotional, or behavioral differences.
• Maintain accurate program documentation (participant files, staff files, entry, attendance, sign-in/sign-out forms, behavior reports, incident reports, and accident reports, as appropriate).
• Manage the graduation schedule and liaise with school Points of Contact (POCs), office administrators, instructors to coordinate all aspects of the graduation process.
• In collaboration with the office administrator create and distribute flyers and invitations for graduations and programming events.
• ​Serve as a positive role model for participants.
• Understand and communicate the BCICs core values and the goals of the core School Program to participants and caregivers.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians through regular communication about their child’s strengths and areas of growth.
• Adhere to all PGCPS, State of Maryland, and funder standards, expectations, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Travel required to workshops and events
• Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn new software systems
• Current CPR/First Aid/RTE certification preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent writing skills, confident speaking skills, and strong communication skills,
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Dedication to accuracy and detail in the creation of high-quality work products.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers.

WORK/ COMPENSATIONS:

Site Coordinator will typically work from 1-3pm with travel to multiple locations. The site coordinator will receive $25 dollars per hour.
