Summary :
Coordinates and performs analysis of product usage and pricing to optimize GPO, GPO Enhanced and Local Contracts and identify cost savings and expense reduction opportunities.
Ensures standard methodologies for contract management, analysis and reporting are used to keep contracts and databases up to date and current.
Assists with financial analysis, negotiations, and the execution of purchase agreements / contracts for the procurement of goods, services and equipment.
Identifies cost savings, standardization and utilization opportunities. Works closely with department management regarding contract renewals, amendments, and execution.
Other information :
A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field is preferred. Previous experience in vendor negotiations and contracting is highly preferred.
At least three - five years of position related experience is preferred. Must possess : Excellent communication and writing skills, excellent negotiation skills with the ability to reduce costs, excellent attention to detail and follow through, strong team player, dependability, organizational skills, excellent computer skills.
Ability to foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors and department management. Strong leadership skills. Provide a high level of customer service to patients, visitors, staff, internal & external customers in a professional respectful manner.
Active listening skills with the critical thinking and problem solving skills.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
