Summary :

The Assistant ECMO Coordinator, under director of the ECMO Coordinator, assumes responsibility for the clinical and administrative activities of the ECMO Department and patients undergoing ECMO Support to assure high quality patient and family centered care.

Other information :

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or respiratory therapy. Must have thorough understanding of Extracorporeal physiology, patient selection, disease processes and management.

Must have hand on EMCO Experience long with emergency trouble shooting skills. Prior Extracorporeal Life Support (ECLS) or percussionist training acceptable and a preceptorship will be completed.

Must be current on education provided by the EMCO Coordinator.

This job will be authorized 72.00 hours bi-weekly.
