Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring accurate transactions at the checkout. Duties: - Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers - Scan goods and collect payments - Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets - Redeem coupons and apply discounts - Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information - Greet customers when entering or leaving the store - Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas - Keep reports of transactions Requirements: - Proven working experience in retail cashier or sales position - Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters) - Strong communication and time management skills - Customer satisfaction-oriented - Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly - High level of energy with strong customer service skills Nice-to-Have Skills: - Knowledge of stock procedures - Experience with POS systems - Understanding of retail math principles - Ability to communicate effectively with customers - Proficiency in basic math for handling transactions - Skills in upselling products or services - Familiarity with operating a cash register - Proficiency in Spanish or other languages for multilingual customer support - Background in technical sales would be advantageous

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
