Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, excellent problem solving skills and enjoy working in a team oriented environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor upon arrival
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Operate phone systems to answer incoming calls and transfer to appropriate departments or individuals
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure guest satisfaction
-Maintain retail sales area
-Assist with light maintenance or housekeeping if needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guest relations, front desk, or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in operating phone systems with proper phone etiquette
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in multiple languages is an advantage
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
