We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Great for someone looking to work a few days a week. Working hours could range throughout the week from morning shift (8:30am) or evening shift (ending 7:30pm).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage the front desk, serving as the first point person for patients, visitors, and inquiries
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of the doctor's time
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as managing incoming inquiries while assisting clients at the front desk and coordinating schedules for multiple providers.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing priorities and unforeseen circumstances, maintaining composure and professionalism during busy periods.
  • Verify and update patient insurance information, facilitate smooth billing processes, and address any insurance-related queries or concerns
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff members, demonstrating strong communication skills and customer-centric approach
  • Manage patient records and confidential information with discretion, adhering to privacy regulations and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality
  • Fostering a positive patient experience
  • Other duties as assigned

Successful Candidate Will Possess:

  • Experience as a receptionist
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must be committed to providing outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and coding procedures
  • Familiarity with healthcare guidelines and regulations
  • Proficient in clerical tasks
  • Attire: Scrubs
