Wildflower Kids Dentistry is a children's dental office in Dubuque, IA. We love providing exceptional care to children and special needs adults in a friendly, thorough, and fun manner. We love having a staff that feels like family and are excited for all the future has to hold!
Our work environment includes:
```Duties```
- Greet and welcome patients, parents, and caregivers in a friendly and upbeat manner
- Answer the phones in a friendly manner and schedule patient appointments
- Ability to work with other receptionists and coordinate daily tasks
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule
- Assist with collection of payment and explaining insurance benefits to patients and caregivers
- File, organize, and maintain documents and records. We receive and send out referrals daily! Communication to other offices is a high priority.
- Maintain professional communication between local hospitals as we coordinate surgeries weekly
-Ability to help coodinate prior authorizations and medical necessity letters for specific procedures
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience as a receptionist, dental assistant, or in administration at a dental office is preferred
- Dental assistants looking for a front desk position, but want to fill-in as a dental assistant on occasion are encouraged to apply!
- Proficient in computer skills, including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Canva and Google Business Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft and dental front office procedures
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
-Ability to empathize with caregivers and patients for their loved ones care and situation
-Willingness to go above and beyond the general duties; we thrive to have a positive work environment where everyone chips in without being asked
