South Florida Community Care Network Llc is Hiring an Instructional Developer Near Fort Lauderdale, FL

Position Summary: Community Care Plan is currently seeking a passionate, experienced instructional designer who can create, deliver, and oversee educational materials for employee growth or career development. The candidate must have a foundational understanding of instructional design models that produce impactful, measurable results, such as increased employee engagement and improved retention. They must also be able to foster a collaborative, productive learning environment that captures the audience’s attention and helps them meet their development end goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Defines, documents, revisits, and assesses learning objectives.
  • Conducts research and collaborates with subject experts.
  • Creates instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.
  • Designs content to optimize learning.
  • Generates the layout of the learning supports.
  • Creates immersive educational experiences for the audience.
  • Assesses student progress and aligns the content with their needs.
  • Uses core instructional design principles and theories to maximize learning.
  • Provides interactive activities and educational resources.
  • Maintains projects and organizes course documents.
  • Redesigns content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs.
  • Creates visual, audio, and interactive learning tools.
  • Researches and implements new technologies into instruction.
  • Distributes key learning materials to the audience.
  • Evaluates existing instructional content and keeps it up to date.
  • Develops a cohesive, relevant curriculum by partnering with organization leaders.
  • Manages student roster and tracks ongoing progress.
  • Provides reports to management as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

As a continued effort to provide a safe and productive work environment, Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. Staff are able to work from home 3 days a week and will report to the office 2 days a week. *****The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education or related field
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in training and development/instructional design required
  • Experience in graphic design
  • Good understanding of learning management systems
