Description

**MUST BE WILLING TO PHYSICALLY WORK NEAR SUNRISE, FLORIDA, 33323**

Position Summary: The Healthcare Insights Analyst critically interrogates and interprets data to spot patterns and identify opportunities to increase quality and contain costs. The Healthcare Insights Analyst employs advanced analytics to gain critical insights into member health drivers, product/program concepts and value propositions, operational effectiveness, and efficiencies, as well as member specific health gaps and needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Use healthcare domain experience and background in analytics, statistics, and/or business intelligence to develop impactful analytics products for both executive leadership, internal teams, and external customers
  2. Provides technical and analytical expertise to deliver targeted insights and analytics required to support data-driven decision making
  3. Develops insight into member and provider performance and the variables affecting performance and identifies opportunities for Value Based Payment contracting
  4. Identifies and reviews opportunities for continuous improvement through data by analyzing data and processes, recommending technical solutions, and creating reports or other solutions as needed to support business needs
  5. Evaluate data and report findings for accuracy, completeness, intent, and scope
  6. Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
  7. Partners with internal and external stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver insightful analytic solutions.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking, influencing, problem solving, verbal and written communications with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Working knowledge of using data to deliver compelling storytelling to drive an impactful result
  • Using fact-finding and effective questioning techniques and diagnostic tools to identify and analyze problems
  • Effective collaborative and proven process improvement skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan, organize and manage projects, critical thinking, problem-solving, and the analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of complex information
  • Ability to conceptualize, create partnerships and facilitate change 

Work Schedule:

As a continued effort to provide a safe and productive work environment, Community Care Plan is currently following a hybrid work schedule. Staff are able to work from home 3 days a week and will report to the office 2 days a week. *****The company reserves the right to change the work schedules based on the company needs.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A/B.S) from a four-year college or university; Advanced degree preferred
  • 3 years Managed Care Industry experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of statistical, data or population health analysis
  • Knowledge/experience with BI and analytical tools such as PowerBI/Tableau, or a comparable data visualization tool
  • Working knowledge/skills writing SQL
