Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. You will develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, provide individualized attention to each child, and promote their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. This teacher will also be responsible for our Summer Camp Program (Ages 4-8years)

Duties:

- Plan and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for preschool-aged children

- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence

- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members

- Assess the needs of individual children and provide appropriate support and guidance

- Collaborate with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum plans

- Monitor children's progress and provide regular feedback to parents

- Maintain accurate records of each child's development and behavior

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom

- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and parent conferences

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood education setting

- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices

- Strong understanding of age-appropriate curriculum development

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment

- Patience, flexibility, and adaptability in working with diverse groups of children

- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred

Skills:

- Experience working with children in a preschool or early childhood education setting

- Proficiency in lesson planning for various subjects including math, physical education, literacy education, etc.

- Knowledge of childhood development theories and practices

- Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum plans

- Experience with early intervention strategies for children with special needs

- Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, parents, and staff members
