The Hudson Rose is coming to Nutley, NJ this Summer 2024!

Here at The Hudson Rose we are excited to begin the search for our Opening Team!
We are in search of experienced, dedicated and hospitable candidates to join our team and bring a new experience to the community in Nutley, NJ.

The Hudson Rose will offer 110 seats in the Main Dining Room including Bar Seating and a Private Dining Room. The Harlow Room, our second floor event space will host events ranging from intimate gathers to as many as 200 for a cocktail style event. Our Executive Chef, Andrew Riccatelli, has crafted an exciting menu for both spaces. The Main Dining Room will showcase our Wine Room with over 500 bottles on display to accompany our list of 100 Wine Selections. Our goal is to offer the highest level of hospitality to our guests and community, both within our restaurant and beyond it's four walls.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in an Upscale Casual setting

Responsibilities:
- Work cohesively with coworkers and embrace a teamwork mentality at all times
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Accurately measure and pour classic and specialty cocktails
- Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using POS systems

- Comfortable serving guests seated at the bar as well as maintaining timing and accuracy standards while overseeing Service Bar

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar/dining area

Qualifications:

- Must have working knowledge of, and comfortability suggesting, wine, spirits and beer.
- Three (3) years of role specific experience in a comparable, high volume, upscale casual environment, upholding high levels of service standards
- Passion for offering a high level of hospitality and creating memorable experiences
- Utilizing knowledge of our menu to create the perfect experience for guests
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
