JOB GOAL: System Analyst adept at defining and resolving system issues through meticulous analysis and solution design, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Coordinates and supports technology projects, fostering key relationships both internally and with external stakeholders. Committed to delivering projects on time and within budget, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and district satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITES:

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server, Linux, Sophos, IP, Jamf, iPads, notebooks, file and print services to ensure smooth operations.

• Implement backup systems such as Macrium & Cohesity to safeguard critical data.

• Manage telecom and data network operations, including VMware, Citrix, Telephony, Linux, Mac, Unix, Microsoft server OS, SQL, network HA environment, and load balance technologies. Systems Analyst/Project Manager Board Approved: 5-8-2024 Page 2

• Address performance problems proactively, including environmental issues and viruses, to ensure system stability.

• Collaborate with Technology Specialist II & Technology Specialist III on complex issues, providing expert guidance and support.

• Optimize network configurations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.

• Mentor junior staff to improve team skills and reduce error rates.

• Refine security protocols to boost system defenses against cyber threats.

• Guide the team through software transitions while maintaining productivity.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a 12-month position. Salary and employment terms are based on the Classified Exempt Placement Schedule, Level I, as established by the Governing Board. Employee benefits in accordance with Board policies.
