Remote Senior Recruiter – ASRC Energy Services, LLC

JOB SUMMARY

This position is integral to the Company’s success by finding and recruiting top talent.As a senior recruiter, this position will manage all recruiting activities including sourcing and recruitment, pre-screening and reviewing candidate applications, conducting interviews and coordinating offers of employment. The Senior Recruiter will also be responsible for leading targeted sourcing campaigns for hard-to-fill craft trade positions.This position will primarily support the Company’s Alaska North Slope labor needs in which skilled trade employees work rotational schedules (typically two weeks on the slope and two weeks off), which allows our employees to work in Alaska and live in other states.

This position is a remote-based L48 position, with a preference for candidates located in a Pacific, Mountain, or Central Time Zone and in one of the following states for accessibility to the Company’s labor pools and recruiting fairs (Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Iowa).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assist Hiring Managers to develop a strategic recruiting plan in order to assess workforce needs.
  • Contribute and assist with recruiting and HR special projects and goals for overall department success.
  • Post and maintain current requisitions for assigned client group.
  • Generate and maintain a pool of qualified candidates and identify, prospect, and manages relationships for new pipelines.
  • Identify and build a pipeline of candidates and maintain relationships with qualified candidates and contacts.
  • Utilize AES applicant tracking system as well as external tools (social media, job boards) to reach a qualified applicant pool.
  • Conduct pre-screening of qualified applicants and submit to hiring manager for review.
  • Identify and source candidates via referrals, internal applicant tracking system, social media, career fairs, and networking events.
  • Conduct phone screens and in person interviews regarding candidate’s skills and experience relative to the position.
  • Draft and extend job offers to candidates explaining full job description, assignment, compensation, and benefits.
  • Maintain all candidate pre-screening and interview notes in applicant tracking system.
  • Lead and participate in ad-hoc recruiting special projects.
  • Ability to travel and participate in career fairs as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Support the AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, Human Resources, or similar or four (4) or more years of relevant work experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ high-volume life cycle recruiting, staffing, or agency experience, with a strong preference for experience in labor trade industries (electricians, mechanics, heavy equipment operators, scaffolders, and/or other labor positions).
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing exceptional customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, evaluation of customer satisfaction, and adherence to AES recruiting guidelines.
  • Experience with staffing entry level to experienced level craft trade positions.
  • Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and policies.
  • Working knowledge of all federal, state and local labor laws.
  • Proven track record of implementing innovative strategies that efficiently deliver quality candidates.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for this role.
  • Valid Driver’s License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with Taleo & Oracle Cloud
  • Knowledge of Alaska oil and gas services industry.
