PFAS Soil Remediation Operations Supervisor – ACES

JOB SUMMARY

The PFAS Soil Remediation Operations Supervisor (PFAS Supervisor) is responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant work environment in the field and shop.The position is responsible for soil remediation projects being executed safely, efficiently, and within time and budget scopes.The PFAS Supervisor is to be an example of professional leadership in the field operations. They are to complete field audits to ensure compliance with applicable laws, ensure conformance with company and client requirements and ensure timely completion of accurate reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Support AES zero-incident safety culture and ensure safe work practices in PFAS operations.
  • Ensure equipment are operated to established limits and are maintained according to all company H&S policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Innovation team and client to establish a work plan, an execution schedule and reporting schedule.
  • Establish regular project meetings/updates communicating progress, future challenges to schedule and potential mitigations.
  • Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and Company regulations including daily logs, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, expense reports, dispatch, and trip reports, etc.
  • Assure that change orders are communicated and approved before work is started.
  • Understand and ensure the requirements of handling and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials are adhered to on job sites.
  • Identify, remove, load/unload, transport and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Maintain regulatory and company-required training.
  • Conduct daily and weekly onsite safety meetings to comply with job specific and company safety policies.
  • Other duties will be assigned to this position as projects require.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required, two-year degree in the trades,
  • business or environmental industry preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years operational industry experience.
  • Hands on field experience in equipment operation and crew supervision required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Experience in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must have good verbal and written verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends and to travel out of town on short notice for extended periods of time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with HAZOP or HAZID processes
  • 20 years of operating experience in a hazardous oil and gas environment

WORKING ON THE NORTH SLOPE

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you.All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms.Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift.Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp.Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc.Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

A candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements:

  • Meet the AES Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.

  • Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions.
  • Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam.
