Powder River Industries, LLC provides technical services across the entire system development life cycle (SDLC). We possess a facility clearance (FCL). As a prime we are responsible for complete end-to-end system management for a customer’s top secret mission system. This includes data center, logistics support, configuration management, COOP, and disaster recovery. As a subcontractor we are providing services in DevSecOps, software development, network administration, systems analysis, database administration, storage engineering, hardware engineering, Tier 1 – Tier 3 support in traditional data center environments (bare metal frames), cloud, and hybrid cloud. The cloud environments we are operating in today are AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle.

FSO will manage and administer all aspects of industrial security programs in compliance with Department of Energy Instructions, DoD Manuals, NISPOM, ICD’s and other applicable government security directives. Accountable for all day-to-day personnel security matters on contracts. Responsible for performing multiple disciplines within security to include (but not limited to): personnel security, providing training briefings, completing/submitting access paperwork, conducting security audits to ensure compliance, and government directive implementation. Routinely interact with both internal and external customers in support of program-related activities. Work closely with the Project Leader and DOE, DoD, or SAP Security Supervisor to support all aspects of corporate security and ensure proper implementation of National Policy.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to develop and execute security policy, plans, and procedures.
• Track record of security excellence in a multi-compartmented work environment with the ability

to forecast unforeseen issues and prepare corrective action plans.

• Maintains situational awareness of all security functions and issues.
• Understanding of security principles and government special security regulations.
• Experience assisting or supporting security operations within a contractor or government

agency.

• Computer proficient on MS Office products and working knowledge of DISS, e-QIP, Scattered

Castles, and JADE.

• Professional demeanor, good people skills, ability to communicate effectively both written and

orally, and be able to perform in a multi-tasked, dynamic environment.

• Totally self-managed. Fully responsible for deliverables to customers.
• Ability to manage time, make sound decisions, take independent action, analyze problems, and

provide focused solutions.

• Proven track record of completing tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with company

and government regulations and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge and demonstrated application of the U.S. Government security standards

of 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives, Security

Executive Agent Directives, and SAP administrative workflows.

• Understanding of advanced security principles and government special security regulations.

Work Location Type:

10 hours per week – may “bank hours” in order to cover periods of the year that need more hours of focus such as an audit or training.
