Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced morning Floor Manager to join our team. As a Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment. Duties:
- Manage and supervise all front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas
- Ensure exceptional customer service by training and coaching staff on proper service techniques
- Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen management team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Oversee inventory control and ordering of supplies as needed
- Assist with scheduling staff and managing labor costs
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, address concerns, and provide ongoing training opportunities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant management
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in using REVEL POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of wine is a plus
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or floor manager is preferred
- Experience with OpenTable is a plus
