Job Description:
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the accounting aspects of e-commerce and investment activities. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate transactional records, performing reconciliations, analyzing financial data for discrepancies and trends, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. You will also be responsible for leading the month-end close process and collaborating with various departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate financial records for e-commerce transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconciliations: Oversee reconciliations for purchases and payments within the internal inventory point-of-sale system.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost optimization or revenue growth.
• Quarter-End Close: Lead the quarter-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and generating reports for management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Provide financial insights for budgeting and assist in creating financial projections.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory standards, submitting all financial reports promptly.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and mitigate financial risks.
• Collaboration: Work with finance, investment, and e-commerce operations to provide financial expertise.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Experience: Experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in e-commerce or investment-related industries.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software like QuickBooks or Xero, and strong Excel skills.
• Organization: Exceptional attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and urgency in delivering tasks with accuracy.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
