CaiE Oriental Bistro is Hiring a Fine Dining Server Near Sparks, NV
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fine Dining Server to join our team. As a Fine Dining Server, you will provide exceptional customer service and create a memorable dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a professional and friendly manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding ingredients or preparation methods
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure all tables are properly set with clean silverware, glassware, and napkins
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
- Assist with cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Handle cash transactions using the cash register or POS system
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menu changes, and promotions
- Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Fine Dining Server or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food service procedures and etiquette
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Proficient in using Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be 21 years of age or at time of hiring as there is a bar.
