Joyful Hearts Homecare is Hiring a Part-time Caregiver Near Oakdale, MN

The position as a caregiver entails working closely with members of the elderly community. The caregiver is required to reliably communicate with clients and their families in order to best care for the client. The caregiver’s tasks will differ for each client, but the caregiver’s main goal is to fulfill the mission statement of Joyful Hearts Homecare in all interactions with clients and their families. We are located in Stillwater and have clients throughout the east suburbs.

We are currently looking to hire for a few specific clients in Oakdale and White Bear Township. The shifts we need are weeknights, weekend nights, and weekend days. Lots of flexibility on which shifts you would like.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Have a joyful and compassionate spirit anytime you are representing Joyful Hearts Homecare.
  • Show clients and their families you are there to care for the client.
  • Take extra time to ensure the client and their family that you genuinely care about their well being.
  • Respond quickly and professionally if the client or family contacts you.
  • Provide timely updates to family members and to managers about the client's status, if requested.
  • Be respectful, polite, and understanding when interacting with clients and their families.
  • Communicate with managers and other employees effectively.
  • Relability to build long lasting relationships with clients and their families.

Possible services you may need to complete for/with clients:

  • Companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, memory care, and personal care.
  • Services completed vary based on employees and clients.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
