The Full-Time Housekeeper is responsible for the continuation of guest services through their primary responsibility of daily cleaning of RMH guest rooms and program spaces to ensure mission excellence, safety and order for the vulnerable population that we serve. Housekeepers will ensure that individual guest rooms are cleaned and turned in a timely and efficient manner, and that common living spaces, public restrooms, and storage areas are cleaned and organized with exemplary care and attention to detail.

-INSURANCE - Eligibility - 1st of the month following 2 calendar months of employment. RMHC covers 90% of employee-only premium, 50% of dependent premium for basic plan. Employee pays the remainder, with a pre-tax deduction. $50 per pay period stipend if medical/dental waived

-RMHC does not cover vision insurance premiums, but offers a vision plan

-Life Insurance- RMHC covers 100% of employee premium for $20,000 basic life insurance/AD&D, $20,000 for spouse and $5,000 for dependents

-RETIREMENT – 401(k) - 1st of the month following 2 full calendar months of employment.Employer Contribution - 3% of salary – must work 2 full months to begin receiving contributions, and are vested after one year in the plan. THE PERSON:

Experience Required:

Requires at least two years of work experience in housekeeping, general home repair, or similar position that involved interaction with the public; experience in a commercial hotel or non-profit group living setting is preferred

Skills Required:

• Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Interest in basic building maintenance preferred with a do-it-yourself aptitude
• Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines
• Highly organized, creative, energetic and collaborative team player
• Flexibility with regards to work assignments and changing priorities

Hours:

Variable schedule of 40 hours per week including evenings and weekends.
