National Vascular Associates is Hiring a Remote Account Manager

Great opportunity to join our expanding practice and be part of our Mountain Spring Vascular Team! This is a full-time position for the right person who is an energetic, fast learner, detail oriented, and has a positive attitude. Remote position. Must live in Maryland or Northern Virginia area.

The account manager will oversee the inventory level of the business. They will handle supply and equipment management and distribution. They monitor available supplies, materials, and equipment to ensure that providers and employees have access to the materials they need. The account manager will be the primary contact for inventory and processing supply and equipment purchasing requests for the practice. Their goal is to ensure that all business operations have adequate material to achieve their objectives.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee all medical inventory and ordering.
  • Design and implement an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
  • Conduct inventory audits.
  • Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory.
  • Complete all assigned offices quarterly and monthly inventory counts.
  • Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels.
  • Properly order new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies.
  • Analyze various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving the best cost- effective deals.
  • Report problems to suppliers.
  • Display tact and diplomacy with team members, providers, and vendors.
  • Proactively alert offices of shortages and pricing issues.
  • Work with providers on ordering new products.
  • Participate quarterly in provider meetings.
  • Develop protocols for loss mitigation.
  • Work independently and utilize efficient time management skills.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Core Competencies/Skills Required:

Required:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have 2 years purchasing experience of business supplies, negotiating the best price and quality.
  • Must have 2 years monitoring and tracking inventory supplies, electronics, and equipment.
  • Must be a reliable professional.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work independently and utilize efficient time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and take initiative.
  • Excellent computer literacy and with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Pay close attention to detail.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, logistics or relevant field.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of inventory management experience in a medical setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
