Lancaster County Government is Hiring a Legal Clerk I Near Lancaster, SC
Under occasional supervision, performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties to ensure effective and efficient assistance to the daily activities of the Clerk of Court.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Primarily files, receipts money for General Sessions, Common Pleas, answers in-coming phone calls, enter judgments, handles jury venire for Criminal Court as well as any other duties as required. Reports to the Deputy Clerk.Prepare deposits, run reports, e-filing process, scanning of documents, send out jury summons and record returns, process mailings, handle court processing (such as Summons and Complaints, appeals, subpoenas, etc) Clock documents as needed, make copies as needed.
