The Program Manager is a full-time position with a competitive starting salary ($48,000-$53,000), bonus opportunities, company sponsored 401k matching plan and paid vacation and paid federal holidays. About the Program Manager Position The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of activities associated with running our youth sports leagues, clinics and camps in the Loudoun County and Central/Northern Fairfax County territories. The position will work out of our office in Fairfax City with some travel throughout our Fairfax County and Loudoun County focus areas to visit venues, market the programs and meet with partners. Reports to: Athletic Director, i9 Sports Loudoun County/Fairfax County Job Functions Operations:
Creates and facilitates the i9 Sports experience on the field/court ensuring that all venues maintain a 65 or greater NPS score
Develops and executes NPS action plans
Follow all procedures and processes for efficiency and develop recommendations to improve them
Lead recruitment of parent coaches, background checks and assign to teams
Ensure all programs have parent coaches, including substitutes as needed
Works with Operations Manager to ensure that emails and voicemails are answered within 48 hours
Lead hiring process for new staff for programs
Lead recruitment of current and former staff for future programs
Oversee scheduling and monitor staffing for all programs
Works with Athletic Director to ensure accurate payroll each week
Ensure all programs are fully staffed
Develop and implement ongoing in-person and virtual training for staff and parent coaches
Ensures game day processes and procedures are followed and completed in a timely manner
Follow-up on parent and volunteer issues
Ensure that all locations are operating at or above the established standards
Additional administrative duties as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
Excellent attention to detail, pattern identification and motivated to create processes that optimize and improve the way things are done
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all stakeholders
Self-motivated, works efficiently and meets reasonable deadlines
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Enjoys a challenging, high energy and dynamic environment
Able to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment and own results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capable in both a leadership and team-player role to get the job done
Has experience playing sports and understands its potential to have a positive impact on the community if implemented correctly
Event management experience preferred
Bachelors degree
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Drive, etc
General schedule (in-season): Approx. 45 Weeks of the year Thursday, Friday, & Monday; 9-5pm; Saturdays 7-4pm & Sundays 8-4pm (subject to flexibility/changes according to Game Day needs) General schedule (off-season):Approx. 7 Weeks of the year Monday Friday; 9am-5pm (subject to flexibility/changes as other opportunities arise) Job Type: Full-time Salary: $48,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year Benefits Full-time employees are eligible for the following company benefits:
