Job Summary : The Outreach & Staffing Specialist is a cross-functional position where the chosen candidate is expected to be versatile by playing a key role in supporting both clients’ outreach and the hiring function of the company when it is needed.
The ideal candidate is expected to have prior outreach experience and work in an office setting preferably in homecare or the healthcare industry.
Homecare Office Assistants, Community Liaisons, Outreach Coordinators are encouraged to apply.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
The duties and responsibilities described below do not represent a comprehensive list for this position. Additional tasks may be assigned periodically as necessitated by business demands.
Expand clients base and develop relationship with key targeted referral sources such as but not limited to : councils on aging, rehabs, nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living, adult day care centers, geriatric physicians, elder law attorneys, assisted living, retirement communities, etc.
Prepare and deliver presentations of company’s services to referral sources and potential clients
Educate referral sources, potential clients and consumers in general on the components of home health care services by articulating the benefits of private duty homecare services
Serve as a liaison between the company and rehabs, hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, physicians and all other referral sources to identify healthcare needs and assist in meeting those needs through the company’s various product lines.
Attend fairs, trade shows and other events in line with the services offered by the company
Support Company HR function such as calling and vetting applicants, participating in job fairs, building and maintaining relationship with HHA and CNA referral sources etc.
Participate in the hiring process of caregivers
Accurately generate required reports including weekly schedule, Marketing Action Plan etc.
Answer and screen telephone calls using established and appropriate greetings to greet clients and the public
Handle incoming calls & inquiries, take detailed messages & route calls to appropriate person
Carries out other duties as assigned by management.
