Intuit Dome is Hiring a Concert and Event Merchandise Manager at Intuit Dome Near Inglewood, CA

We are seeking a highly motivated and expert Concert & Event Merchandise Manager to manage the sale of concert & event merchandise at Intuit Dome. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event venue operations, concert & event merchandise sales, a passion for live sports/concerts, and experience growing a new business.

The Concert & Event Merchandise Manager is the direct link between the artist's representative(s) and the venue, leading all aspects of the successful operation of all on-site artist/tour merchandise sales. In this role, you will establish and lead a highly motivated team of retail teammates in inventorying, distributing, and displaying each piece of artist merchandise throughout the Intuit Dome. Throughout the event, you will monitor inventory levels and requests additional stock as required, all while motivating the team to quickly and carefully complete each fan's transaction. After the show is over, you will oversee the team as they reassemble and inventory the remaining merchandise, and then settle with the artist representatives and complete settlement reports.

To be considered, you should exhibit a successful history of working in a fast-paced, high-volume, concert and event merchandise environment using data to inform and support your decisions, and a willingness to be hands-on with execution. You should also be a people-first team player who is a big thinker, obsessed with continually elevating the brand, delivering consistent results, and most importantly making a lasting impact in the concert and event merchandise landscape.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and special events.

What You Will Do

  • Work cross-functionally with the booking team to understand the calendar of upcoming concerts & events.
  • Communicate and build relationships with Artists/Tour Representatives, Promoters, and Event Management to advance product assortment for upcoming event(s).
  • Review and schedule the delivery of all merchandise and coordinate storage within the arena.
  • Develop a teammate schedule in partnership with Retail based on event projections.
  • Complete throughout count in/out of all artist/event-owned concert and event merchandise with a designated retail team.
  • Update event POS to reflect accurate product assortment, images, and pricing.
  • Merchandising of all concert and event merchandise locations; taking into consideration the quantity of product being provided by the artist or event.
  • Ensure merchandise locations always remain clean and presentable and displays meet or exceed expectations.
  • Review real-time sales reporting to ensure all concert and event merchandise location is well-stocked to maximize revenue.
  • Supervise, train, and support retail teammates on effective/efficient merchandise selling practices and customer service best practices.
  • Complete all required reports in a timely manner, including pre-show, post-show, and payroll reports.
  • Ensure team compliance with Intuit Dome policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.

Your Background, Skills and Experience

  • 3-5 years of live concert & event experience (Merchandise Sales)
  • 1-3 years of working cross-functionally with venue/artist/promoter/event management
  • 1-3 years of managing 25 or more employees
  • Ability to think strategically, problem-solve, and multi-task.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to complete work accurately and on time.
  • Ability to work independently & in a group setting and demonstrate good judgment skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Must have availability to work 100% of scheduled events monthly except for approved time off.
  • High School Diploma or GED

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Lift/move boxes weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Be able to stand for up to several hours at a time.
  • Work in different work settings (climate-controlled indoor/outdoor/warehouse)

Compensation

  • The range for this position is $85,000 - $90,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
