Intuit Dome is Hiring a Sustainability Coordinator, Intuit Dome Near Los Angeles, CA

We are looking for a Sustainability Coordinator to join Intuit Dome! Under the Director of Sustainability, the Coordinator will support organization-wide sustainability projects, such as our Zero Waste initiative, and collect and maintain sustainability data for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA, and is eligible for our competitive benefits offering, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), Well-Being Allowance, and more. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays, to cover high-profile concerts and NBA games.

What You Will Do

  • Identify, collect, and maintain data from various sources, internal and external to the organization, for Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions reporting and other sustainability indicators.
  • Research and prepare reports and presentations describing findings, recommendations, and overall environmental impacts of decisions, as requested.
  • Assist with maintaining sustainability programs and initiatives, such as our Zero Waste program, by researching, communicating with internal and external partners, and contributing to operations as assigned.
  • Support outreach efforts to internal and external partners regarding general sustainability information, including waste reduction, GHG emission reduction, and overall sustainability progress.
  • Support the Director of Sustainability with developing and conducting sustainability training workshops for full and part-time staff.
  • Support sustainability-focused certification and re-certification projects, such as LEED Zero.
  • Take on ad hoc projects as they come.

Your Background, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related field. Relevant sustainability experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
  • A minimum of one year of related professional experience collecting and managing sustainability data streams, performing statistical analysis, and evaluating environmental issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of sustainability concepts, waste management practices, energy efficiency practices, and Greenhouse Gas reporting protocols.
  • Experience with organizing and handling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing large amounts of data, identifying trends, and generating reports and graphics.
  • Ability to effectively communicate sophisticated information with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Skill in researching and supporting the implementation of innovative, sustainable building operations.

Compensation

  • Compensation range for this role is $26 per hour to $28 per hour. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
