JOB SUMMARY
The University of Connecticut is seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a full-time position as an Enterprise Systems Administrator (Systems Administrator 2) in the Information Technology Services division. This individual will provide support for the University of Connecticut s Student Administration application. You will be joining a team of experienced IT professionals managing multiple Oracle applications and providing technical services to the University community.
The successful candidate will provide analysis, design, implementation, and production-level services for the delivered Student Administration application, as well as supporting upgrades and security maintenance. The position also requires problem analysis and providing solutions for a variety of issues related to the application. The candidate will need a strong interest in learning and supporting technologies, the ability to work with a large client community, and a high sense of self-motivation, initiative, organization, and follow-through.

This is a full-time position. The University offers a competitive salary, outstanding benefits including employee and dependent tuition waivers at UConn, and a highly desirable work environment. Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate s background and experience. This position could potentially have a hybrid work schedule, subject to authorization and University Policy. Other rights, terms, and conditions of employment are contained in the collective bargaining agreement between the University of Connecticut and the University of Connecticut Professional Employees Association (UCPEA).
