Corkbuzz Chelsea Market is Hiring a Support staff Near New York, NY
Owned and operated by Master Sommelier Laura Maniec, we are a series of wine-centric restaurants focused on offering an approachable yet varied selection of wines from the classical to the esoteric.
Whether you’re having a casual glass or indulging in a bottle, we have a menu built to pair seamlessly with wine.
We’re currently open 7 days a week
Our Summer Hours are : 1-8pm Monday & Tuesday, 1-9pm Wednesday & Thursday, 12-9pm Friday & Saturday, and 12-8pm on Sundays
This position is for a support role to work 5 days a week. Weekend availability a must
Areas of Responsibilities :
Support the servers, bartenders, and management in resetting tables, bar, and work areas.
Running food from our kitchen to guests.
Work with a sense of purpose and urgency.
Polish glass and silverware for proper storage.
Assist guests with questions and concerns or direct them to a staff member who can.
Communicate effectively and frequently with management, staff, and guests.
Ideal Experience :
Some familiarity with restaurant service.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Ability to read and write in English
An interest in beverage, food, and hospitality and the desire to learn.
