Carolinas Continue Care Hospital is Hiring an Infection Control Nurse /DQM Inpatient Hospital Near Charlotte, NC

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical surveyor/ Director of Quality to join our inpatient hospital clinical team. Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at Pineville is a 40-bed Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital specializing in medically complex patients requiring an average length of stay of 25 to 30 days. A typical LTAC patient may require care for: ventilator weaning, complex wounds, infections requiring IV antibiotics, complications from extensive surgery, multi-system failures, TPN, neurological / traumatic injuries, and those not yet able to participate in acute rehabilitation due to medical complexity.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality improvement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards Ensure survey readiness.

- Medical chart reviews

- Manage and supervise the quality assurance team
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality improvement plans
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to quality assurance
- Provide guidance and support to staff regarding quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with medical management to ensure quality of care
- Manage medical records systems to ensure accuracy and compliance

Skills:
- Senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of medical records systems and their role in quality assurance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences
