Responsibilities:

• Write and edit content
• Conduct research to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
• Fact-check information to maintain credibility and integrity of written materials.
• Incorporate Social Media content in the tone and style of written material
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and develop engaging content.
• Tailor writing style and tone to target audience and purpose of the content
• Revise and proofread written materials for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in writing and editing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a writer or journalist, preferably in a digital media or entertainment publication.
• Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
• In-depth knowledge of the higher education industry and academia.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $2,600.00 per month

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
