We are currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator, someone who is able to seek new business opportunities, create new working relationships and maintain a portfolio of new and existing customers to help grow our company.
Requirements:
- Passionate about sales and service
- A self-starter and highly motivated to succeed
- Strong technical skills
- The ability to work both independently and as a team member
- College diploma or University degree an asset
Principle responsibilities will include:
- Working with a large customer base and handling a high volume of shipments
- Ability to expand customer base
- Spot quoting and arranging orders based on set rates
- Monitor load from order entry to final delivery
- Tracking and tracing orders
- Expand carrier database with new quality carriers, and developing positive relationships with new and current carriers
- Maintaining carrier database by keeping pricing and contact information current
- Resolving customer issues quickly and accurately
- Ensuring accurate data entry
- Follow up with vendors when required
This is an Entry Level position.
Remuneration to be discussed based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
