Licensed Vocational Nurse

Silver Age Home Care, Inc. is a well-established, growing home health care agency based in Los Angeles, CA. We are seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team.

The primary purpose of the position is to provide skilled nursing care in the provision of activities of daily living (ADL’s) under the direction of the RN that will assist the resident in maintaining their current condition. The ADL’s that will be provided will include, but not limited to, preparation and breakfast, meal preparation, daily medication reminders, nightly medication reminders, bed preparation, daily wear and sleep studies, and other such tasks as personal care.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Los Angeles, CAL Nursing License and a valid driver’s license.

Essential Functions:

• Provides skilled nursing care in the provision of activities of daily living (ADL’s) under the direction of the RN that will assist the resident in maintaining their current condition.
• Follow all state and federal regulations for home health care services.
• Communicate with patients and families when patients are in the facility.
• Maintains a professional demeanor with residents, visitors, and staff.
• Follows directions from the RN and established policies and procedures as outlined in the RN’s employee handbook.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Must be a licensed Vocational Nurse in the state of Los Angeles, CA.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Spanish speaking (Preferred)
• Mandarin speaking (Preferred)

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
