Celebration Health & Wellness is seeking a full-time Coordinator to join our skilled and caring healthcare team.

About Us:

We are a high-volume, multiple-provider private practice dedicated to Women’s and Children's Health. With over 25 years of experience in the medical field, our staff is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Scheduling and Compliance Coordinator to manage the schedules for our OBGYN practice. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our provider schedules by working closely with our leadership team to ensure a complete view of the schedule 4-6 months in advance. Additionally, the ideal candidate will need to utilize scheduling software to track PTO, surgery schedules, call schedules, and make changes immediately as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with other administrative staff to address scheduling conflicts and ensure seamless patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely entry of schedules into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Create schedules 3-6 months in advance using practice scheduling rules, practice software, ensuring alignment with provider availability and business needs.
  • Continuously look ahead to avoid scheduling issues.
  • Ensure compliance with HEDIS® (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set) standards and assist with records management.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, operations direction, and office manager to address scheduling inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to scheduling in the healthcare field.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks and projects as assigned by leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • Associate degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3 years - Prior experience in appointment scheduling or a related administrative role is preferred.
  • 1 year – HEDIS - compliance experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Knowledge of OBGYN and Pediatrics scheduling practices and terminology is preferred.
