Job Summary:

Doggett Automotive Group is seeking a dependable and customer-oriented Parts Driver to join our team. The Parts Driver will be responsible for delivering automotive parts to customers and other dealership locations in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle parts with care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customers, service technicians, and other dealership locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely and accurate manner, following the scheduled routes.
• Verify parts orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Load and unload parts from the delivery vehicle with care, ensuring no damage occurs.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and delivery confirmations.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from customers during deliveries.
• Assist with picking and preparing parts for delivery, as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on the delivery vehicle, reporting any issues to the Parts Manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Follow all traffic laws and dealership policies to ensure safe and efficient deliveries.
• Assist with other duties in the parts department, including inventory management and warehouse organization, as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in a delivery or driving role, preferably in the automotive industry, is a plus.
• Familiarity with automotive parts is beneficial.
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of local traffic laws.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts and equipment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Basic computer skills are a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
