Front Desk Agent
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner, must be able to work year round
- Register guests and assign rooms, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and checking guest rooms prior to check-in
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information
- Complete a daily checklist and properly close down the desk in the evening
- Must be responsible and dependable and willing to work in other departments such as housekeeping and laundry when needed
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, including handling payments and issuing room keys
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Handle guest complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Utilize phone system
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Knowledge of guest relations principles and practices
